A lesson from the herd
What is it like to truly be together with your horse, without any pressure or expectations?
Collaboration based on connection, trust, and coordination
What is it like to truly be together with your horse, without any pressure or expectations?
What happens when you don’t ask questions or give directions, but simply listen, with all your senses open?
In this lesson, you and your horse will explore greater awareness, subtle communication, and true partnership based on your relationship. Heart to heart.
We work freely, which means without a halter. This creates space for genuine connection: what’s going on with you? What is your horse showing you? What does it take to build mutual trust, and how can you communicate with each other? Or we can work on establishing a safe partnership using a halter.
What to Expect
In each class, we tailor the session to your needs at that moment. Among other things, we work on:
- Connection: learning to be present with everything that is—without judgment.
- Communication: recognizing and using body language, energy, and intention.
- Synchronization: sensing how you and your horse influence each other.
- Trust: creating space for relaxation, mutual respect, and freedom of choice.
- Deepening Your Relationship: Growing Together in Your Unique Bond, in a Way That Works for Both of You.
Every lesson is different—because you and your horse are never the same. I guide you with gentleness, clarity, and respect for the process.
Who is this lesson for?
- For everyone, young and old, who is looking to deepen their relationship with their horse.
- For people who want to learn from and with horses, even if they don't own one.
Don’t have your own horse? Then you’re welcome to work with one of the horses in our herd in Heerewaarden (Gelderland). Every horse has its own personality, and every interaction is unique.
Practical information: What do you need?
If the class is held at your location, please ensure that:

- On a soft, horse-safe surface (such as sand or grass),
- Where the horse can move freely and feel safe.
Do you have any questions about this, or are you unsure whether your space is suitable? Feel free to contact me—I’d be happy to help you figure it out.
Location and travel options
You can choose:
- A lesson at your location, provided the conditions are suitable.
- A lesson with my herd in Heerewaarden, a lovely and safe place where we have plenty of peace and space.
