Discover, experience, and grow with horses

Welcome to De Paardenverkenners® – where children can discover, experience, and grow through their connection with horses.
In these lessons, I take children on a journey into a world full of adventure, nature, and genuine connection. Not out of obligation, but out of wonder, joy, and respect for the horse.

Who is Paardenverkenners® for?

For curious children who want to:
– learn to interact with horses in a safe and loving way
– build their self-confidence
– develop greater body awareness and calmness
– play, explore, and be outdoors
– experience how special the connection between humans and horses can be
– for children ages 6 to 13 (but it can also be adapted for older children and adults!)

What do we do during class?

Every lesson is a journey of discovery. Children learn:
– “reading” the horse: body language, emotions, energy
– how to work together in a gentle, clear way
– groundwork, balance, playful activities, and creative activities
– what it feels like to truly connect with an animal
– how to recognize your own tension, emotions, and boundaries
– Games with and without horses, designing, and coloring, for example
– Short tasks, such as mucking out and filling hay nets

We don’t operate under pressure to perform, but rather with a focus on calm, enjoyment, safety, and connection.
A place where children can be themselves—and where horses help them grow.

Classes are taught in small groups of 2, 3, or 4 children, but individual lessons are also available. Whatever works best for the child.
